Arrangement: in pairs and small groups
Materials: a short text
Time: 20 minutes
Choose a text of 200 to 300 hundred words. This could be an article or a summary of a story that is related to a topic they are studying in their course. From this text, you need to choose some key words and put them on a slide to show the class.
Ask students to look at the words and see if they can piece together what the story is about.
Then put the pairs in small groups to compare their ideas.
