Textploitation: Getting more from your texts
David Bryne and Mark Heffernan
Textploitation was born from a belief that a single text could be the focus of an entire lesson. We believe that while texts are regularly used in coursebooks, for a variety of understandable reasons they are often underexploited. But that doesn't mean we can't do so in class. There is always something else that we can highlight in a text that will help our students.
Using examples from On Point and using methods from our book Textploitation, we will show you how you can return to a text and mine it for all it is worth!
A Certificate of Attendance is available for every participant.
