As a new financial year starts Delta Publishing is launching the first fully comprehensive coursebook for finance professionals preparing to take the Cambridge ESOL International Certificate in Financial English (Cambridge ICFE).

Absolute Financial English has been devised to fully prepare candidates for the Cambridge ICFE exam, which was established in 2007 to allow finance professionals to demonstrate their skills in the international language of finance and accountancy, English.

Delta has worked very closely with author Julie Pratten in developing what is currently the only coursebook to fully prepare students for the Cambridge ICFE exam.

Julie Pratten is a well known author within the field of financial English and has brought her solid experience as an ELT classroom teacher to the course. Julie has also brought her extensive knowledge of designing and implementing specialist English language training for bankers and financial experts to the book; drawing on her experiences in successfully running in-company projects in over twenty-five countries across the globe.

Delta’s Nick Boisseau says “At Delta we quickly recognised the importance of the ICFE exam in the international financial and accountancy world, and we’re extremely proud to be publishing the first full coursebook to support ICFE candidates. Julie has, as ever, written material that is practical, stimulating and above all comprehensive in preparing students for this relatively new exam.”

Absolute Financial English focuses very much on training candidates for the ICFE exam; ensuring they have both the level of language skills and exam preparation required to prove their ability to communicate in English in the international finance sector. The course provides over 60 hours of material written for either class or self-study, and includes Audio CD.
