Changing Skies provides a totally new experience for advanced-level learners, combining cross-cultural reflection, detailed language work, and the development of advanced reading and writing strategies.

Topics include:

  • The Idea of Europe
  • Globalisation…

These topics, and others such as Style and Fashion, Working Abroad and Travelling, have been chosen to provide people at the end of secondary school and university with opportunities for a personal response to a range of relevant political, economic and social issues. Cultural identity is an underlying theme of the whole course.

Changing Skies contains 12 flexible units, each opening with an authentic text from a variety of sources and followed by a range of detailed language activities.

The cassette provides authentic and scripted material to help develop extensive and intensive listening skills.
