I have worked in Primary schools for more than thirty years, teaching Key Stages 1 and 2, and special needs. 

Having taught EFL to French teenagers, I became a class teacher, with responsibility for science, in an international school in the Netherlands for ten years. I then moved to a multi- racial state school in London before becoming a supply teacher.  I worked with children from all over the world, for whom English was a second or third language so the concepts of CLIL (Content Language Integrated Learning) seem to have been behind every lesson I have ever planned.

I have written non-fiction reading materials, activity books and lesson plans linked to the English national Curriculum for OUP, LCP and Franklin Watts.
